We are celebrating our second year as a duo! The band started on the streets of Downtown Wilmington busking around the holidays with an acoustic guitar and high spirits. It was Wilmington Distillery that saw us and took a chance on us. When we started there we barely had a 3 hour set. In fact, we started with the song Valerie and ended with it the first 3 shows!!! They never doubted us for a second though. They continuously booked the band 2-3 times a month for the entirety of our career; from a small acoustic act to an original band with a lot to say! We thank you Chewy & Nicol for seeing our vision. You continue to let us get creative and allow us use your space to bring art to the people! You will always be remembered as the bar that put us on and we thank you! Make sure everyone goes out and supports this local distillery!! They work hard supporting this community of creatives. In fact, I’ll buy the first person to tell me they read this blog post’s drink at our next show there 😉
